Tonight, our crew went out for fortnightly training. Lawrence 1 was given a latitude and longitude to navigate too for a grass fire. Whilst on scene, our crew went under a fire over run scenario.

Updated: 5:36pm - Due to easing conditions across the fireground, the alert level has now been downgraded to Advice. The fire continues to burn in a westerly direction. Those in the vicinity of the fire should continue to monitor conditions.

A big round of applause to Holly for her efforts co-ordinating today's backburn at Jackie's Creek fire today with our Senior Deputy and Incident Comtroller.

A successful burn with favourable conditions with the help of Trenayr Rural Fire Brigade - NSW RFS, NSW RFS - Grafton City Rural Fire Brigade, NSW RFS - Gulmarrad Brigade and South Hampton Brigade.
