Volunteers Needed – Garie Support Patrol
We’re seeking volunteers for the Garie Support Patrol this coming weekend. We’re particularly looking for:
• Patrol Captain
• IRB Driver & Crew
• ART award holder
• BM award holders
Ideally, we’d love to have 5 members in total. Volunteers can come from a mixture of clubs across the Branch.

// On Sunday 20 September 2026, Surf Life Saving Sydney launched its Surfboat Academy at South Maroubra SLSC with a successful development day. Participants enjoyed a day of learning and skill development, with ongoing coaching support to be provided throughout the season. Thank you to all participants and the SLSS Surf Sports Committee for helping make the launch of the Academy such a success. A big thank you to our presenters, Frank Schreuder, Phil Vial, Tom Chapman, Grant Wilkinson, Katlynn Coglan, Jack Spooner for their valuable contributions and Natasha Hargreaves for her assistance with registrations.
