Last night we celebrated excellence. But at Woodridge, success is about more than awards. It’s about young people who overcome challenges, believe in their potential, lift others up and make a difference.

We are incredibly proud of our students, staff, our families and the community that makes Woodridge so much more than a school.

We don’t just celebrate what our young people achieve. We celebrate who they become.

This is Woodridge. This is our story. And we are only getting started ♥️

A massive thank you to the staff down with them, and our volunteer student referee, Jimmy.

Plenty to be excited about - out of the 29 students competing, 22 will be making their Woodridge High Volleyball debut.

Our Year 8 Boys are also competing in the Honours division for the very first time.

Our Esports teams represented the school exceptionally well at the SEQEL Competition.

A special congratulations goes to Avary, who was awarded the Sportsman of the Tournament Trophy (Good Game Award) in recognition of their positive attitude, respect for others and excellent sportsmanship.

We were also proud recipients of the School of the Tournament (School Cup Winner) award, recognised for our positive behaviour, great sportsmanship, supportive team culture, strong participation and overall tournament success.

Competition Results:
• Rocket League - Grand Final Champions.
• Crash Team Racing - Grand Finalists, finishing runners-up.
• Brawlhalla - Semi-finalists.
• NBA2K - Semi-finalists.

We are incredibly proud of all their achievements both in competition and in the positive manner they conducted themselves throughout the event.

Year 9 Chinese Excursion to Sunnybank

Our Year 9 Chinese students had a wonderful day exploring Chinese language and culture in Sunnybank! From discovering traditional Chinese herbal medicine to reading Chinese shop signs and menus, students brought their classroom learning to life. The day ended with a delicious Yum Cha experience with eating a variety of Chinese dishes together.

A memorable day filled with discovery, laughter and meaningful learning! 🥢❤️
