Enjoy delicious roasted butternut pumpkin, smashed avocado, fresh coriander with a squeeze of lemon, creamy tahini harissa dressing and a drizzle of BBQ sauce, all layered between slices of locally baked, golden toasted sourdough bread. 🍞

A special moment on the water 💙

Mel, Tiff and Artie waving goodbye to SeaLink Kangaroo Island SPOKI as she made her final trip to Kangaroo Island after 22 years of service.

She’s carried countless locals and visitors across Backstairs Passage, along with the freight and supplies our island community depends on, including here at Emu Ridge. Thank you, SPOKI, for being part of so many journeys and memories.

There’ll be no ferries to Kangaroo Island for the next few days while the ramps are prepared for the new ferries. We’re looking forward to seeing the first new ferry and welcoming this next chapter ⚓

Meet little Rockey! 🐾

Rockey is a cute orphaned brushtail possum who’s settling in well. Awake for his milk and toileting routine, and afterwards he had a little climb. 🌿🌳

It’s lovely to see him becoming more curious and adventurous, they are actually very cheeky! We can’t wait to share more of his adventures as he grows. 🥰
