The daily commute for us beaches folk might be about to get longer and more expensive, thanks to some sneaky moves from a major overseas-backed developer.
Many of us rely on Eastern Valley Way to get to work. What most people don’t realise is that a development application (DA) has been submitted to the NSW Government for a major high-rise project, which experts say could effectively rezone the entire arterial road with huge developments.
This is despite the fact that Eastern Valley Way is kilometres from any train or metro.
It would create hours of congestion and make life impossible for all of us up here, especially for tradies who rely on this route to drive to the city and North Sydney.
