💦 We're OPEN and back for another week of What's ON at Manly Pool! 🏊‍♀️

After yesterday's closure, we're happy to have our doors open again and welcome everyone back poolside!

We managed to get some much-needed heat back into the pool yesterday, so fingers crossed we can hold onto it while this cooler, rainy weather hangs around! 🤞🌡️

Check out this week's What's ON timetable below for all our activities and lane availability.

Thanks again to everyone for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you all poolside! 💙.

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE – MANLY POOL CLOSURE 🚨

Unfortunately, due to ongoing issues with our pool heating system, Manly Pool will be CLOSED tomorrow, Sunday 18 October.

Our pool temperature has dropped below our usual comfortable swimming temperature, so we have made the decision to close the facility for the day to allow us to keep the pool covers on and retain as much heat as possible. 🌡️🏊‍♀️

We know how much our community loves their time at the pool, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.

💙 We will reopen Monday 19 October.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support while we work to get things back to normal.

We look forward to seeing you all poolside again soon! ☀️

A hundred years ago, locals turned up to Manly Pool’s opening day in suits and top hats.

These days it's boardies and thongs but the love for this place hasn't changed one bit.

I joined the community to celebrate 100 years of Manly Pool, one of Australia's finest seawater pools when it opened in 1926 and still one of Brisbane's most loved with over 197,000 visits last year alone.

Here's to the next hundred, Manly Pool! 🏊🎉

🎉 WOW… WHAT A WEEKEND! 🎉

What a fantastic day we had celebrating 100 years of Manly Pool! 💙🏊‍♀️

Everything came together beautifully, and we’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate this very special milestone. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, both past and present, enjoying the day.

A special mention to Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner, who took time out of his busy schedule to pop in, say hello and help us celebrate. We were delighted to have him officially start our Legends Race! 🏊‍♂️🏆

We’d also like to say a big thank you to Councillor Alex Givney for the FREE jumping castle and face painting, which were a huge hit throughout the day, and to Joan Pease MP for her generous cash donation towards the event and for donating our Lucky Door Prize. Your support was greatly appreciated. 💙

📸 NOW WE WANT TO SEE YOUR PHOTOS!

If you joined us on Saturday and captured some great moments, we’d love to see them! Please send your photos through to our Manly Pool Messenger page. We’ll collate them all and share some of our favourite memories from the day soon.

Thank you again to everyone who helped us celebrate 100 years of swimming, community, friendships and memories at Manly Pool.
