At Aldridge State High we are very proud of our Independent State School status. We have already been recognised as one of the best educational facility's in the region by our peers, but more importantly than that, we aim to achieve the best possible outcomes for each & every student. "The Aldridge Way" involves inherent virtues that we teach, uphold & expect from our entire school community; caring, commitment, honesty, respect, responsibility, self-discipline & tolerance. Personal Living Dimensions

During term 3 the years 11 & 12 students have been working on a Christmas Table Runner. The students have been very excited to get something done to be able to take it home and each item is individualised to suit their taste. They have chosen their materials, cut out the pattern, hand sewed and some have braved the sewing machine to get their item finished. While it has been a little challenging for some, overall, they have chatted away enjoying each other’s company and made it a very relaxed classroom.
