As she's grown up, her relationship with Legacy has grown with her. Now, Arabella is proud to represent Legacy and the many young people like her, finding ways to support the community that stood by her family when they needed it most. ❤️ 💙

At 11 years old, Arabella was scared and uncertain, watching her mum fight to hold the family together after her dad came home changed by his service.

With no stable home and no certain way forward, the family was at its breaking point.

Then Legacy stepped in with the kind of support that reaches into every corner of their lives.

Today, Arabella is thriving at university, living her dream course and her own story of resilience. ❤️ 💙

Today, on National Peacekeepers Day, we honour and remember the sacrifices of the more than 65,000 Australian peacekeepers who have served in communities around the world, and the families who have stood behind them at home.

As she was growing up Legacy gave Ella a sense of belonging, through youth camps and the opportunity to be a part of a community that understands.

Now studying social work, Ella carries her Navy veteran father's memory into the career she's chosen, helping others the way Legacy once helped her.

Will Beckwith was just a child when he lost his father, a Navy sailor, to a service-related illness.

Through Legacy's youth camps, he found a place among other kids who understood his experience.

Now an adult, Will gives that same gift back by mentoring other children who've lost a veteran parent.
