While our Jobs Victoria Employment Services (JVES) will be concluding its services by the end of September 2023, we want to assure you that we continue to offer various employment services to support you!
Our team is committed to providing the following services and ongoing support to our valued clients:
RECONNECT
Reconnect is aimed at individuals who are wanting to return to study and have been disengaged from education or work for at least 6-months. The Reconnect program will support individuals with a successful return to education or employment.
CONNECTIING CARERS
The Connecting Carers program targets unpaid carers who are seeking support and wanting to explore options around work, education or increasing social connections, to achieve balance in their lives. barriers to achieve these goals.
FRESH START
Fresh start is a fun and interactive 5- day workshop delivered during the school holidays. It is aimed at young people between the ages of 15-25 years old living in Wyndham who want support with entering the workforce o access to local jobs.

This year the focus will be on giving the opportunity to improve and gain the knowledge to access employment and the opportunity to be a part of a range of activities to build your confidence and skill set.
Individualised meet ups with Opportunity Wyndham Education and Employment advisors on your resume, interviewing practice, current job vacancies, career counselling, and educational advice.
Workshops on a range of employability skills; Branding yourself for success, Conquering the Interview Nerves, Linked in Learning to Stand out, Styling like professional-wardrobe tips from a Fashion expert as well as a range of technical training; Food handling, RSA and Barista training options
All the above learning will prepare and prime you for meeting with Pacific Werribee retailers and businesses that will be available to interview you for current vacancies the following week without having to go through the tedious online application process!

Farewell and Gratitude
Our Community Employment Connecting(CEC) Program comes to an end today after two years of service. What a tremendous effort our CEC team had provided to local job seekers, not only connecting them to employment but also case management support, connecting them to other services and facilitating career pathways.

Wyndham CEC delivers a Carer Program that supports unpaid Carers.
A Carer is someone who provides support to a person who has a disability, mental illness, chronic health issue or age-related condition.

Refugee, migrants are building a new future in Ararat Rural City Council. The settlement program began in January last year. The Wyndham Community and Education Centre has been a partner with this settlement program to help refugee, migrants fill job shortages in manufacturing, meat processing, childcare, agriculture and the IT sectors in Ararat Rural City Council.
