Ever seen "psychosocial recovery coaching" on your NDIS plan and thought...' Uhh what does that actually mean???'
You're not alone. It's one of the least understood supports on the NDIS, even though they really can make a huge difference.
Think of them as a disability specific life coach — helping you figure out what recovery looks like for you, setting goals that actually matter to you, and connecting the dots between all the different services available to you, and the people involved in your life.
Recovery does not mean trying to " fix" you. It's about walking alongside you while you figure out your own path forward, at your own pace.
If you've got recovery coaching in your plan and you're not sure what to do with it, or you're curious whether it might be worth asking for at your next review, drop a question below — happy to explain more. 💬

against a very dark green background, brightly coloured text reads:
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching:
What is it?
Not therapy.
Not a support worker.
A recovery coach helps you build the life you want, one step at a time.
Sets goals with you
Connects you to services
Is there for you for each step along the way
