I've been out doorknocking in Prahran, and one thing kept coming up: people haven't forgotten how the last Greens MP left. Forced out of his party over an affair with his own staffer, then quitting parliament midterm.

Locals told me they want someone they can trust to show up and do the job. And with Labor and the Greens voting together in parliament, a vote for one is a vote for the other.

That's exactly why I'm here, to give Prahran a fresh start.

It was great to welcome Federal Opposition Leader Angus Taylor, Deputy Leader Senator Jane Hume, Senator James Paterson, along with Victorian Opposition Leader Jess Wilson, to Prahran’s iconic Hobba café this morning!

We spoke with local traders about the challenges facing small businesses and shared our plan to lower costs, cut red tape, reduce crime and back the businesses that keep our shopping strips thriving.

Our local businesses are the heart of Prahran, and they deserve a government that backs them, not holds them back.

It’s time for a fresh start for Prahran and Victoria!

I visited 150 Inkerman Street alongside Member for Southern Metropolitan Region David Davis to hear firsthand from residents concerned about Labor’s plans to demolish their homes.

These towers are more than just buildings. They are homes, filled with families, friendships and decades of community connections.

Yet Labor is pushing ahead with demolition without proper consultation or care for the people who live there.

I'm calling on the Carroll Labor Government to halt the demolition plans. If there are structural concerns, these towers should be renovated instead.

Residents deserve safe, secure and well-maintained homes, not the uncertainty of being forced out of their community.

It was great to be out doorknocking and listening to people's concerns and what they want to see change.

The main issues that come up time again are crime, cost of living, and the impact of regulation and taxes on people and business.

Prahran Place is a wonderful not-for-profit neighbourhood house and community hub located in Grattan Gardens in the heart of Prahran.

I've attended on a number of occasions and today caught up with locals and learned how to play Mahjong.

It's a game I've always wanted to play, and it reminded me of one of my favourite movies, Crazy Rich Asians!

$6 MILLION FOR ORRONG ROMANIS RESERVE!

Sport brings communities together, and the impact of Orrong Romanis Reserve reaches well beyond Prahran, with players and families travelling from across Victoria.

I joined Liberal candidates for Malvern and .boffa for Southern Metropolitan to announce our $6 million commitment towards a new pavilion and clubrooms.

Home to the , Victoria’s largest junior cricket club, and the , these clubs deserve facilities that match their growing participation.

Our commitment will deliver proper female and junior change rooms, improved facilities and a community hub for players, families and volunteers.

This is a Fresh Start for Prahran and Victoria.
