LOOK: On the sidelines of the Digital Health Festival, DTI Sydney brought together the head of PEZA, the Consul General of the Philippines, and members of DTI, IBPAP, and HIMAP for a Business and Investment Forum held in the MCEC last 21 May

Consul General Jesus R.S. Domingo represented the Philippines at the 2026 Victorian Aboriginal Remembrance Service, which honoured First Nations Australians serving with the armed forces. Joining him were serving, reservist and retired members of Australian and Allied Nations military units, including Mr. Paul Payne, formerly of the 1st Royal Australian Regiment (RAR) (Army), and Mr. James Mansfield-Page, of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). The moving ceremonies were held at the Victoria Shrine of Remembrance.

LOOK: Consul General Jesus R.S. Domingo met with Double Dragon Corporation Chairman and CEO Edgar Injap Sia II, who is also the Founder of Hotel101 Global Pte. CG Domingo expressed his full support for the upcoming opening of Hotel 101 in Melbourne, which is slated to become one of the largest hotels in Victoria.

Consul General Jesus R.S. Domingo called on CFO Secretary Dante "Klink" Ang, last April 29 and had discussions on developing a "Laboratory" to identify and develop Filipino Diaspora best practices in PCG Melbourne's jurisdiction.

LOOK: The Philippine Booth at the Digital Health Festival turned the heads of conferencegoers. A delegation headed by DG Theo Pangan of the Philippine Export Zone Authority (PEZA), supported by DTI, CITEM, PTIC-Sydney, and members of IBPAP and HIMAP promoted investment opportunities in the Philippines, highlighting the country’s talented workforce and readiness to do business with Australian clientele. Philippine Consul General Jesus R.S. Domingo also visited the booth in support of the delegation.
