Czechs Arts Fund proudly supports the latest project of Victorian Opera
Leoš Janáček’s
KATYA KABANOVA (Káťa Kabanová)
After more than 20 years a Czech opera will be performed in Melbourne, sung in the Czech language, to celebrate the work of one of the Czech great composers - Leoš Janáček.
The dramatic love story/turned tragedy is presented by the Australian creative team lead by the Artistic Director Stuart Maunder AM, using the latest mod cons and effects to deliver a true masterpiece.
Held in the iconic Palais Theatre (which boasts with an impressive Czech crystal chandellier), there will be just two performances
