Herzog will be in Melbourne on Thursday, meeting politicians and holding a large Zionist event that launders the Gaza Genocide and rehabilitates Israel's image to local communities.

Hit the streets to stand with Palestinians in a rally that brings the city to a standstill once more.

Send Herzog off with a loud message from the people: down with the Zionist occupation and long live Palestine, victorious and free.

We are today's international anti-apartheid movement, we oppose the genocide of First Nations and Palestinians. We want to see liberation, self determination and freedom for both colonised peoples.

Herzog may try to maintain Australia's support, but change is growing here against settler colonialism, white supremacy and imperialism, change that can sanction Israel and aid the Palestinians.

Let's stand in solidarity against racist systems and the racial policing we saw manifest in Sydney.

Say it loud, say it clear Herzog and his Apartheid vision is not welcome here!

Protest Israel's president Isaac Herzog's visit: Nationwide marches Monday 9 February  

As president of Israel, Herzog has presided over a genocide and bears responsibility for the murder of tens of thousands of Palestinians, the forced displacement of millions and increasing settler attacks on the West Bank.

It is unacceptable that Anthony Albanese is rolling out the red carpet for a leader accused of inciting genocide. 

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry concluded in 2025 that President Herzog had incited the commission of genocide.

President Herzog’s words were also referenced by the International Court of Justice in its January 2024 provisional ruling, highlighting that Herzog’s words had contributed to a pattern of rhetoric indicative of genocidal intent.

As a party to the Rome Statute and the Genocide Convention, Australia is obligated to prevent and punish genocide and related offences under the Convention. 

Instead, the Labor Government is allowing President Herzog to visit Australia showing complete disregard to international law and human rights.
