This afternoon in Kindergarten the children have been working as group to tell a story whilst creating their own illustrations on an A5 piece of white card. The Kinders took it in turns to add a sentence or two to the story, which I copied down the side of the card whilst they drew pictures to accompany their version of events. I began the story with "there was once a man who lived on the moon...."

The colder weather hasn't stopped us from getting outside, this week in Kindergarten the children used their fine motor skills to paint a branch we found in the outdoor environment. Once the branch was dry we planted it in flower pot. Afterwards the children and I weaved various colourful wool in between the smaller branches. The children continued to used the base of the branch as a farm, filling it with beautiful stones and wooden animals.
