What a fabulous night, to not only see our students receive awards along with the other school students from the Peninsula.

McClelland took out the School of Best Practice in Applied Learning, a credit to all the teachers in our VCE VM program, the curriculum developed and of course the administration support.

McClelland is leading the way in Applied Learning practices, to have all the hard work recognised and celebrated at the PAL awards last night really is the icing on the cake. As we already know how great our Applied Learning VCE VM program is at McClelland College.

All Schools Track and Field.

All students represented MCC well in their respective events, and had a great hit out before Tuesday’s SMR Track and Field.

Massive thanks to all involved and special thanks to the parents for transporting athletes to and from Lakeside Stadium.

All Schools Track and Field Championships.

We have a small team of four students representing McClelland College at the All Schools Track and Field Championships running over the next four days. Jhett will be competing in the 100m and 400m, MJ in the 100m and 100 Hurdles, Bella in the Triple and Long Jump, whilst Harlee is set for the 400m, Long and Triple Jump events. We’ll be watching with interest as Jhett, MJ, Bella and Harlee give their all against students from a range of government and independent schools from all over the state.

Good luck to all involved!

Attendance is a really important part of Secondary School.

At McClelland, we want to ensure you know what each percentage means. We want all of our students here, engaging in their learning and experiencing all of the opportunities McClelland has to offer.

Jump on to COMPASS and check where your attendance %’s are at today!

VCAA stipulate that senior students must demonstrate sufficient attendance to fulfill the time and work requirements of the unit.

It is important that we can authenticate our students work and therefore our attendance policy states a minimum 90% VCE Compliance attendance to be eligible for a Satisfactory ‘S’ result.

If you are away, please make sure you provide the required documentation i.e a medical certificate, to ensure your absence is marked VCE compliant.
