The Victorian Government has launched Ageing well in Victoria action plan 2026–2030: strengthening wellbeing for older people.
There is no single experience of ageing in Victoria. Older people are diverse with different cultures, identities and life experiences. The action plan focuses on the areas that matter most to older people:
• staying connected to family, friends and communities
• staying independent and ageing well at home
• having access to services and support when needed
• feeling safe, respected and included.
Together, we can continue building a society where everyone can age well.
