Join the rising tide affiliating with 'Jacob and the Cassowary', an illustrated short story about West Papua written by Gipson Suu from Yahukimo in the West Papuan highlands. For $25 you can be listed as a Patron in the book; or $50 for a free copy as well. We plan to launch the book in the West Papua Women's Office in Docklands (Victoria, AUS) on 15 March 2026. This offer to join the freedom struggle closes on 23 February 2026 (14 more days), so there is not much time to meet our target ($3,500). Don't miss out.

Bishop Philip Huggins, with West Papuans Gipson Suu and Drs Jacob Rumbiak, at Sunday morning mass on 7 September 2025, at St Silas Anglican Parish of the Parks. The mass honoured the historic ties between West Papua, Papua New Guinea and Torres Strait. Dr Rumbiak asked the congregation to ‘do what Jesus did’, and to forgive the Indonesian state for its crimes in West Papua since 1962.

Join us for another great day at the West Papuan Office in Docklands (Victoria, Australia) on Sunday 31 August 2025 at 2pm (1pm for a great Papuan lunch). This time we are launching a memoir, maybe the first written by a West Papuan. 'The Stowaway, from Sorong to Rotterdam' was written by Eddy Korwa, who escaped his homeland in 1964 hidden in the engine room of the last Dutch cargo ship to dock in West Papua . We are also auctioning an historic (1975) full-colour newspaper from Papua New Guinea, dated the day of the nation's independence in 1975. It's in good condition, despite its production half-a-century ago. Hope to see you there. BTW, the address is Lifestyle Building, 838 Collins Street, Docklands (Melbourne)
