It might take me a little while to get used to all this facebook stuff. I know how easy it is to get lost inside a book, and this is right in your face, so to speak...I borrowed a copy of "Facebook for Dummies" from the library, (ebook of course) but can't figure out where you plug it in. Da Da!!
Thats a joke for non intellectuals....
Anyway the rain did not dampen our spirits at Fernlea today, and we followed up on the history of a ship that was on an Australian stamp in 2004, and which was the sister ship of the one that one of our guests came out to Australia on. Very interesting. There are lots of interesting stamps from Australia. The other stamps got glued onto coasters, which will remind people of various times and places in Australian history.

The first post on the Fernlea House page! I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable Easter. This week Fernlea House Emerald is only open Tuesday and Thursday for guests and Fernlea in the South East (Pakenkam) will not open until Friday 2nd May as this week there is Anzac Day on Friday. We will be delving into the realms of hobbies this week, so look out for some stamping up and bowling down.
