CALL OUT FOR CHILDREN’S BOOKS
We've got some great books in our tiny library at the moment, but no children's books. If you have some children's books to spare and share, you can drop them into our centre Monday to Friday 9-4pm, or in one of our tiny libraries 24/7 :-)

In partnership with Brotherhood of St Laurence, Alamein will have another free carer support and friendship session with afternoon tea on Wednesday 24th June 2-3pm.

In this session, you will connect with others who are also supporting loved ones, and enjoy free activities together and support information. This is a monthly group and all carers are welcome.

We recently attended the 2026 Boroondara Volunteer Awards as part of National Volunteer Week, Thursday 21st May at the beautiful Hawthorn Arts Centre. A great event put on by the BVRC.
Dora was up for Volunteer of the Year award it was an extremely strong category with all worthy volunteers for such an award. Whilst Pat received 30 years of Service Award with her time volunteering at Alamein. Your both winners - we are so grateful, Thank you.
