🧸👀 Dingo Teddy’s Eye Test Adventure 🌟

Dingo Teddy enjoyed joining one of our Kealba children for an eye test! 👀🧸

Our special Dingo Teddy program allows children to take Dingo home for a weekend and involve him in their family activities. This creates meaningful opportunities for children to explore the world around them and learn about caring for their health. 💛

Through this experience, children develop responsibility, empathy and confidence while learning about the importance of looking after their eyes and wellbeing.

We love seeing how Dingo becomes part of each child’s family adventure and brings learning to life in such a meaningful way! 🌈

🧸👂 Dingo Teddy’s Hearing Test Adventure 💛

Dingo Teddy had an exciting visit to a hearing test with one of our Kealba children! 👂🧸

As part of our special weekend experience, children can take Dingo home and include him in their everyday activities. This visit provided a wonderful opportunity for children to explore the importance of looking after our health and wellbeing. 💛

By sharing these experiences, children develop empathy, confidence and communication skills. They learn to care for others, ask questions and understand that health appointments can be a positive part of our lives.

Our Kealba children have the wonderful opportunity to take Dingo Teddy home for the weekend and include him in exciting family adventures. One of our little friends enjoyed taking Dingo to the beach, creating a beautiful experience to share with their friends and educators.

These adventures help children develop a sense of belonging, strengthen family connections and build confidence as they share their stories and experiences. They also encourage children to explore their surroundings, appreciate nature and understand the importance of caring for their special teddy friend. 💛

🧸🥪 **Dingo Teddy’s Lunch Adventure!**

Our children at Goodstart Kealba love spending time with Dingo Teddy, and this weekend, he joined in for a delicious lunch! 💛

As part of our special Teddy Take-Home experience, children have the opportunity to take Dingo home for the weekend and enjoy fun activities and adventures with their families.

Sharing lunch with Dingo helps children develop important life skills, including independence, responsibility, social interaction and healthy eating habits. It also encourages children to build confidence as they share their experiences with their friends and educators. 🌟

🌿 Wombat Stew – Exploring Australian Wildlife! 🦘

Our children have been engaging in a wonderful Wombat Stew storytelling and sensory play experience, exploring Australian animals, native environments and imaginative storytelling.

Through this activity, children can learn about Australian wildlife while using their imagination to create their own stories and adventures. The natural materials, animal figures and loose parts encourage children to investigate, explore and develop their creativity.

Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

💜 Safe sleep is everyone's responsibility, and it's always a priority.

🏰 Maths Through Play! 🔢✨

Our children have been exploring early mathematical concepts through hands-on play, using abacuses, shapes, coloured blocks and construction materials.

Children are encouraged to count, compare, sort, recognise patterns, explore shapes and experiment with balance and construction. The open-ended resources allow children to use their creativity while developing important mathematical thinking skills.
