I’m delighted to share a new opportunity for community organisations in Cockatoo! 🌈✨

We have opened funding applications through the Neighbourhood House Coordination Program.

Neighbourhood houses are important community hubs for locals to learn, connect and get involved.

Currently, the Victorian Government funds around 400 neighbourhood houses to support local communities. 💛🏘️

Local organisations can apply to deliver neighbourhood house services in Cockatoo. Funding is available for an initial period of two years.

✨ FREE Healthy Living Webinar for children with neurodiversity ✨

We’ve teamed up with Monash Health to bring you a powerful (and practical) online workshop for parents, carers and community members.

If food battles, sensory challenges, fussy eating or “how do I get them moving without it becoming a meltdown?” feels familiar… this one’s for you.

🧠 Hear from a Monash Health Dietitian on:
• food and the senses
• fussy eating tips
• practical strategies for children with neurodiversity

💃 I’ll also be sharing ideas on encouraging physical activity in ways that feel safe, empowering and actually enjoyable for neurodivergent kids.

Because healthy living isn’t about perfection.
It’s about support. Understanding. And working with our kids — not against them.

We're moving! From January 2026, you can find us at the Cockatoo Community Complex at 77 Pakenham Road, Cockatoo.
