A fantastic evening at The Greens Gala. A wonderful opportunity to catch up with everyone, and to applaud the efforts of our outgoing Senator Janet Rice. A wonderful legacy by a massive advocate for the LGBTIQA+ community who will be missed in the halls of parliament.

At last night’s Council meeting, councillors voted unanimously in support of The Voice to Parliament, moving Citizenship Ceremonies away from January 26, and confirming our support for our LGBTQIA+ community.
A most joyous evening and one that really makes me proud to represent our community.

Short stay companies are basically unregulated in Victoria and it’s making the rental crisis worse
In Yarra alone there are over 1,200 short-stays but less than 300 available rentals
We need to regulate short stays to fix the rental crisis!

Today the Victorian Greens will introduce a bill into the parliament to expand anti vilification laws to protect everyone from hate speech.
But to get the Government’s support on this bill, we need to join together and show the Premier that this is a change Victorians want to see.
We’ve written an open letter to the Premier asking him to urgently stamp out hate speech and expand Victoria’s anti vilification laws. Will you sign it?
