A talk “The Social History of Mechanics' Institutes” will be presented by Heather Arnold, history enthusiast and formerly Local History Librarian. Heather will speak about the role played for over 180 years by Mechanics' Institutes in buildings from the humble to the splendid. Light refreshments to follow.

It's the first Friday of the Month Book sale! Come and find a bargain! Sale starts Friday, March 6th - 9.30am to 5.00pm and continues Saturday, March 7th - 9.30am to 12.30pm, and whatever is left on Tuesday, as we will be closed for the Labour Day Holiday om Monday.
