There's only one more week of classes to go - as we tackle our challenging tasks and deadlines, let's remember to pray as the Lord taught us:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.

This beautiful painting by James Tissot is from his "The Life of Christ" - a beautiful illustrated volume that we have an Mannix Library.

We don't need to be anywhere special to pray, this beautiful painting by Jean-François Millet from 1897 ( the Angelus), show's pastoral workers pausing in their day to pray "the Angelus". As we move towards the end of semester and the beginning of advent, let's pray to prepare our hearts. Let's not be stressed by assessment tasks and exams, or the troubles and worries of today, but pray. We can pray for peace within and without, at any time.

Former AI adviser to Pope Francis Fr Paolo Benanti has called for ethical, transparent development of artificial intelligence that serves the common good…
