Charging home over the 1000m in heavy conditions, Charmed Run showed pure class and toughness to salute in style. A perfectly judged ride by Jamie Mott, who handled the testing track conditions brilliantly from start to finish & to win by 2.25 lengths!

FULL-TIME STABLEHAND – LUKE OLIVER RACING (CRANBOURNE)

Luke Oliver Racing is seeking a reliable and motivated full-time stablehand to join our team at the Cranbourne Training Centre.

This is a hands-on role within a professional racing stable, suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Daily care of horses including feeding, grooming, saddling, and washing
• Mucking out boxes and general stable duties
• Assisting with trackwork and race day preparation as required
• Maintaining high standards of horse welfare and stable presentation

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work mornings, afternoons, and some weekends
• Previous experience in a racing stable is preferred but not essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

What a debut from Hotei Senshi!

The 3 year old son of former stable star Jessy Belle put in a dominant performance to score at his first start at Wangaratta this afternoon over 1400m with Alana Kelly aboard.
He was a six figure yearling who’s always shown above average ability at home and it was great to see the hard work from the team at home pay off today.
Congratulations to his ownership group who have some exciting times ahead with Hotei Senshi.

Congratulations to the owners of Bring The Thunder who picked up his first win this afternoon around the iconic Hanging Rock course.
After racing with no luck at his first two starts, Bailey Kinninmont took luck out of the equation by sending Bring The Thunder straight to the front and he controlled the race throughout.
After a strong finish to 2025, it’s great to get a win on the board on the first day of 2026!
