I am BEYOND excited to announce that my products can now be found at the 4 Sisters Indoor Market in Rosebud 🩷

I have been super busy over the last month, crocheting up a storm to create these pot plant covers - made with recycled t-shirt yarn from the Ministry of Yarn.

It feels amazing to be able to utilize the skills that I have, to handmake beautiful items using what would otherwise be discarded as a waste product - sustainability at it's finest πŸ˜‰

While I do hand propagate & sell some of my own plants - I've also teamed up with Jeff & Lauren of Verdant Dwellings in Dromana, to bring you a variety of stunning, locally grown plants to pair with the pot plant covers, so you can create the perfect gift for your loved one (or to add more greenery to your own collection - you can NEVER have too many plants, right? 🌱)

Me and My Three Creations new product alert!!! 😍😍😍

I made these GORGEOUS pot plant covers for a custom order as a Christmas present for our client's very lucky Mumma & Pappa! She chose the colours, I whipped them up! I dub thee 'Beach Vibes' Duo 🏝 plants used for display purposes only.

They both comfortably fit a 20-22cm pot with saucer, and were made using locally sourced recycled tee-shirt yarn, which are made from at least 80% organic cotton AND are fair trade as well. Sustainable, stunning and not supporting modern slavery! Tick, tick, TICK! βœ…

I am slightly obsessed with making pot plant covers at the moment so keep your eye out for more colours/styles to come!

I have always been told that I have a big heart, but both my bank account and storage containers can vouch for just how addicted I am to buying yarn 🀣

How do you like them apples? 🍎

It's the time of year when we start to think about giving back to the teachers of the world, to say a huge THANKYOU for the hard work that they do with our kids, day in, day out.

This year, some of them have had the extra challenge of trying to teach almost a whole class of kids from behind a computer screen. I cannot even begin to comprehend the struggles they've had. 2020 has been a crazy year for us all.

So for Christmas this year, why not spoil your child's teacher with a unique, handmade crochet apple coaster or 2 (for their morning cuppa, to help them get through the hectic school day ahead) - or if they're REALLY lucky, even a set of 4 πŸ˜‰ you can't tell me they don't deserve it!

Priced to suit all budgets -
1 apple for $8
2 apples for $15 OR
4 apples for $25

(Postage to anywhere in Australia will be extra, please DM to enquire)

Contactless delivery on the Mornington Peninsula will be free πŸ™

A tribute to my beautiful Nana, who sadly passed away last year at the age of 91.

This is Enid the Elephant 🐘 every little girl's best friend for life. Perfectly finished off with a dusty pink bow - just how my Nana would have loved it πŸ’—

Elephants were my Nana's favourite animal. When I was a little girl, I loved going to her house to check out her Elephant collection, which was enormous! Everyone would buy her elephant statues as gifts & any elephant artworks that I made at school would go straight to her.

According to the World Wildlife Fund, in 1930 - when Nana would have been 2 - there were as many as 10 million wild African elephants roaming the continent.

And when she died, there was an estimated 415,000 left. That means that in my Nana's lifetime alone, 9.5 million elephants have died due to habitat destruction and poaching, as well as the impacts of climate change (and obviously natural causes too, of course πŸ˜‰)

So for every custom, handmade Enid the Elephant ordered, 25% of the proceeds will be donated to Save the Elephants, a wonderful organisation that researches, monitors and protects elephant communities from poachers in the illegal ivory trade, promoting human-elephant coexistence and trying to spread as much awareness around the world as possible.

If you would like to order an Enid the Elephant for yourself, please DM to enquire. She is $50 - plus postage if required, but please note, there may be a 3-4 week wait as I make all my orders by hand and a lot of time and work goes into them. I appreciate your patience 😊

I may only be one person and this may not seem like much, but this is what I can do to try and ensure that these magnificent creatures can continue to walk on this Earth until I myself am a Nana, and so my children, grandchildren and generations after them can enjoy observing elephants doing their thing, because once they're gone, we'll never get them back πŸ™
