South Australian Election - DLP Supports Australian Family Party

The Democratic Labour Party in South Australia has merged with the Australian Family Party in that state and is running under their banner in the forthcoming South Australian election.

South Australian DLP members and supporters and others who are committed to traditional Christian values are urged to vote for the Australian Family Party in the state election on Saturday 21 March 2026.

The foundation of liberalism is free speech.
"Hate speech" is just a propaganda term for speech that socialists hate.
The Liberals support for Labor's "hate speech" laws makes them unfit to call themselves liberal.

This so called “anti hate” bill is a full blown dismantling of basic freedoms. It criminalises speech, thought, association and symbolism.

It lets the government ban groups without due process, jail people for who they associate with, reverse the burden of proof, and spy on citizens for their beliefs.

Free speech ends in Australia - Liberals support Labor's Orwellian laws

Any pretense that the Liberal Party actually believed in liberalism was dispelled last night when most Liberal members and senators, with the notable and commendable exception of Senator Alex Antic voted to pass the Labor Party's Orwellian "Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism" (Crimes and Migration) Bill 2026.
As a result of this, a victimless crime - the expression of an opinion - can now lead to a mandatory sentence of many years jail.
To their very great credit, this bill was strongly opposed by the National Party, Senator Ralph Babet, most of the rest of the cross-bench and surprisingly even the Greens, but for all their previous claimed opposition, the Liberals sold out to Labor in a secret backroom deal that delivered what Labor wanted most.
The long accepted distinction between advocating violence, which was always a crime, and simply expressing an opinion others disagree with, which is simply free speech, was collapsed by this bill which deceptively combined them together under the socialist propaganda term "hate speech."
The broadened definition of this in the final version of the bill means that not just verbally attacking a particular racial group or religion is a crime but potentially any criticism or expression of "superiority" of one over another is also punishable by mandatory jail.
So if you think your faith expresses the truth to a greater degree than any other, from now on you'd better keep it to yourself, or you risk ending up in prison.
Cynically exploiting the tragedy of the Bondi terrorist attack, the socialist left have finally achieved their goal of ending free speech in Australia, and they've done it with the help of the Liberal Party.
