We stand with all Australians in mourning and in solidarity with those affected by the tragic events at Bondi.

Gateway Community Services would like to take this moment to remember our friend and ex volunteer Tony - RIP

It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the recent passing of Tony, a neighbour of the Centre, born and bred in Paxton St. Many of you will be familiar with him wearing his high-vis vest and walking his little dog daily.

Tony had a long history with the Centre. He diligently put our bins out each week and watered our plants. He often greeted me and others with a cheerful hello and was always kind, positive and helpful.

He would walk his dog daily over to Edwards Reserve and held a special place in our local residents' hearts.

The Board of Management and staff will work with the community to create a memorial at the Centre in his honour. It is the very least we could do for his years of service and love. Tony, we already miss you and thank you for everything.
