Online application/submission for Passport renewal is now available in Australia from 22/3/2022. Please be advised that all online applications will be processed in Malaysia. You can select to collect your Passport from one of our Mission offices in Australia (Canberra, Melbourne or Perth ONLY) - appointment date & time will be advised by respective office when your Passport is received (approximately 6 to 8 weeks). No postal service is allowed at this point in time. Kindly read ALL terms and conditions prior to your submission.

You are advised to NOT TRAVEL with your current Passport / attend your STO online appointment / submit your passport application in Australia, if you have applied for your Passport online prior to checking your status of application as it may have been blocked.

Kindly check with our HQ in Malaysia as the process is expected to complete between 6-8 weeks after you applied/submit your application online.

PELANJUTAN TEMPOH LUPUT PASPORT MALAYSIA ANTARABANGSA (PMA) BAGI RAKYAT MALAYSIA YANG MENETAP DI LUAR NEGARA

Disebabkan oleh peningkatan jumlah permohonan Pasport Malaysia Antarabangsa (PMA) di luar negara berikutan penularan pandemik Covid-19 dan kekangan perjalanan antarabangsa, Kerajaan Malaysia telah bersetuju untuk melanjutkan tempoh luput PMA selama dua (2) tahun secara percuma.

Bagi rakyat Malaysia yang menetap di Australia, pemberian kemudahan pelanjutan tempoh PMA ini adalah tertakluk kepada syarat-syarat seperti berikut:

(a) Rakyat Malaysia yang memiliki Visa Jangka Panjang untuk menetap di Australia. Contoh: Pemastautin Tetap (PR), Visa Pelajar, Visa Pekerja/ Profesional/ Perniagaan yang mempunyai baki tempoh sahlaku sekurang-kurangnya enam (6) bulan (dikeluar dan diperakukan oleh Imigresen Australia) semasa membuat permohonan;
(b) Tidak memiliki/memohon suaka perlindungan (Protection XA/866) termasuk yang masih menunggu keputusan dari pihak Australia (Bridging A/C/E);
(c) PMA yang masih sah laku (valid) semasa membuat permohonan;
(d) Bebas daripada Senarai Hitam / Senarai Syak Imigresen;
(e) Tidak memegang Dwi-Kerakyatan;
(f) Tidak berada di bawah pemerhatian dan siasatan pihak Australia Border Force (ABF); dan
(g) Bukan untuk tujuan perjalanan ke luar negara atau kembali ke Malaysia.

Permohonan pelanjutan tempoh PMA ini hendaklah bersekali dengan permohonan pembaharuan PMA (5 tahun) dan hanya boleh digunakan selama tempoh interim sebelum PMA 5 tahun siap diperbaharui.

Kemudahan ini hanya disediakan di Pejabat Canberra dan Perth. Sebagai Pusat Pengeluar Pasport, Pejabat Imigresen Melbourne akan terus memberi tumpuan kepada pemprosesan permohonan baharu passport untuk tempoh 5 tahun.

VICTORIA will move to circuit breaker restrictions from 11:59pm tonight, 27 May 2021. These settings will remain in place until 11:59pm on 3 June 2021 - or to a date announced later by the Victorian Government.

If you do not receive any cancellation, the existing appointment still remains. However, please check with your Council/State regarding travel restrictions to our office.

You may well be aware, Victoria will plunge into another stage 4 lockdown from 11.59pm this evening until next Wednesday, as confirmed by Premier Daniel Andrews.

As such, we have been instructed by the Department of Foreign Affairs to cancel ALL APPOINTMENTS from Mon 15 Feb 2021 to Wed 17 Feb 2021.
