Our favourite Docklands residents have returned to build their nest on the floating wetland outside Library at the Dock.

It’s a special yearly tradition we’re lucky to witness — right in the heart of the city. If you’re nearby, swing past and quietly say hello. Just remember to give them space while they settle in.

Docklands will come alive with fire sculptures, glowing installations, live music and roving performers across three unforgettable nights: Friday 4 – Sunday 7 July.

It’s the perfect excuse to rug up, take a wintery walk along the waterfront, and experience the magic of Victoria Harbour after dark.

If you're heading to the marina, you’ll have one of the best views in town – and don’t miss the vessels lighting up the harbour as part of the Light the Night Boat Display.

We are calling on local boat owners to be part of something special this winter. For the first time, Firelight Festival will feature an illuminated boat display — and you’re invited to join in.

From 4–6 July, light up your vessel and help transform Victoria Harbour into a glowing centrepiece of the festival. You’ll be part of a festive flotilla, on display each evening from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, with the chance to win the Firelight People’s Choice Award and a fantastic prize pack.
