Wednesdays are for projects — in whatever form that takes for you.
That might be:
• something creative
• something you’ve been avoiding
• something you’ve started but can’t quite return to
You don’t need a plan.
You don’t need momentum.
Just bring the thing — we’ll meet you there.

Choose your own Adventure Fridays!
There’s no set use for this space — and that’s the point.
You might do life admin, start something that’s been sitting there, or gently wander your way into momentum.
Or not.
All of that counts.

Ok Lovely Humans! For those with any spoons remaining, the NDIS submissions have been extended GENEROUSLY until the 1st June.
It is really freaking complicated.
The simplest I have seen though is this resource created by The Self Management Hub.
It links to an easy steps guide with prompt questions. I just used an AI to dictate my response and then had the AI write it into coherent format. Look me under 1 hour. Not perfect but something so if you can drum up some spoons do so
Huge Proposed Changes to Our NDIS Explained and What You Can Do to Have Your Say
The Government has introduced a major new NDIS Bill about protecting the future of the NDIS, making eligibility clearer, reducing fraud, and slowing cost growth.

A lot of the time it’s not about trying harder.
It’s about:
• having a starting point
• having some gentle structure
• not being alone in it
Body doubling isn’t about productivity for productivity’s sake — it’s about creating conditions where things feel more possible.
You’re allowed to need support with ordinary things 🤍

Sooo, in case it isn’t yet obvious… Friday sessions may be a tad… silly? 😄
Fancy hats welcome.
I have a deep and enduring love for word nerdery — the kind that takes something like “social pariah” and somehow turns it into…
✨ Social Piranha ✨
Incorrect? Yes.
Deeply satisfying? Also yes.
There’s something about playing with language that feels like permission — to be a bit off-beat, a bit creative, a bit not quite the usual way.
And that’s very much the energy of Fridays.
These sessions are a bit more “choose your own adventure.”
A bit more chatty (if that’s what the group feels like).
A bit more loosey-goosey around the edges.
We’ll co-create the space together on the day — whether that’s quiet focus, gentle conversation, or something in between.
All ways of being in the space are welcome.
Even (especially?) if you’ve ever felt like a Social Piranha.

Fridays this term are a little looser.
A space where you can:
• work quietly
• chat a bit
• follow your energy
• or just land somewhere gently
Still structured. Still supported.
Just a tad loosi goosi and adhd. yay

There is no expectation to be productive here.
You might do one small thing.
Many things.
Or simply sit alongside others.
This is a space for being alongside, not performing.

Do you hate forms?
Government forms, applications, paperwork that somehow requires seventeen tabs open and a mild existential crisis?
I’m a bit of a strange duck — I actually really like them.
Happy to sit alongside you and:
• figure out what’s being asked
• break it into manageable bits
Or just simply do the bloody thing for you if that feels like the go.
Feel free to book a 1:1 if this is your idea of a fun time.
(Also every time I think about forms I think of that Hunt for the Wilderpeople scene, which keeps me amused long enough to complete the form)

What’s on my desk (and in my brain) lately…
I keep coming back to this image from What Do People Do All Day? by Richard Scarry.
All the little scenes. Everyone doing something different. Nothing being the “wrong” thing.
That’s the feeling behind my Friday sessions at the moment — a bit of a choose your own adventure space.
Not one task. Not one way.
Just somewhere to sit alongside others while you do (or don’t do) your thing.
I’m also aware that this kind of imagery reflects a particular time and worldview — and doesn’t capture the full diversity of how we live, work, rest, and exist.
Which got me thinking…
What do we do all day?
Talking about our cats.
Working up the energy to shower.
Looking for the executive function to look at the dishes.
Following a special interest.
Resting.
Colouring in.
Pacing our spoons.
All of it counts.
All of it is part of a life.
And all of it is welcome here.

Hey humans 🌿
If you’ve been feeling a bit stuck, scattered, or unsure where to start — you’re not alone in that.
Body doubling is a simple but powerful way of having someone alongside you while you do the things that can feel hard to begin (or continue).
From May → July I’ll be running small, supportive group spaces for:
• projects
• life admin
• and a new Friday choose your own adventure session
Low pressure, camera optional, come as you are.
