To our incredible St Kilda Life Saving Club family ๐๐ฉต๐โค๏ธ๐ฉต๐
We want to take a moment to say a truly heartfelt thank you to each and every one of our volunteers; from Nippers, Fundraising, Events Management, Keepers of our Clubhouse and Patrollers. Your dedication, generosity, and unwavering commitment to keeping our iconic beach and community safe has been bonding us since 1914.
Whether itโs patrolling in all conditions, training, supporting events, or simply showing up with a smile, you make a difference every single day. Itโs your teamwork, spirit, and care for others that is at the heart of our club.
We are so grateful to call you our club family. Thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your hearts. Our community is safer, stronger, and better because of you.
With appreciation for your commitment to the proud tradition of lifesaving. Thank you for everything you do ๐๐ฉต๐โค๏ธ๐ฉต๐ Life Saving Victoria Lifesavers with Pride Volunteering Australia City Of Port Phillip

This week Australiaโs marked our very first ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต๐ ๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐ - a moment to focus national attention on prevention, independence and the everyday actions that help people stay strong, connected and living well as they age.
This yearโs theme, ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, reminds us that healthy ageing isnโt about slowing down - itโs about having the capability, confidence and support to keep doing whatโs important at every stage of life.
Thank you to Max Collins for modelling National Healthy Ageing Day and helping spotlight the importance of healthier, more connected ageing across Australia. Surf Life Saving Australia's Bronze Medallion is the basic qualification for lifesaving. It covers surf awareness, rescue techniques, first aid, CPR, and teamwork, and it allows members to patrol on Australian beaches. When Max's Bronze expired in recent years, he chose to requalify for the full qualification. He did this not for recognition, but with a clear goal: to connect to our St Kilda Life Saving Club family and join a patrol team.
Although ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต๐ ๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐ is over, small actions done consistently make a big difference over time. So you can join our club and keep building the habits that support independence, confidence, and wellbeing today and into the future.
๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐!
