Yesterday a 22ft Linfox container came down from Darwin with just 4 boxes holding over 1000 irreplaceable flu vaccines. The vaccines belong to EBOS and needed to be brought to Melbourne. Thank you to those Linfox staff that made it happen, especially to those who monitored the load over the entire weekend until the arrival into Melbourne. Active refrigerated transport which is monitored live for temperatures is at the core of both Mediport and Linfox’s healthcare transport solutions. A really great outcome. @ Mediport

This is the first Electric/Battery powered refrigeration Pharma truck in Australia. Why electric??? The Refrigeration can be powered for up to 4 hours by a bank of batteries when truck is turned off. This extends the protection for vaccines / medicines and is far better for the environment. Think loading bays, confined delivery locations or even a traffic accident. A powerful alternator provides current to an inverter, giving 24v to a compressor whilst recharging a bank of batteries. Produces incredibly stable temperatures for high demand irreplaceable product. The 2019 flu season (short vid) saw a large increase in those being vaccinated. The 2020 flu season is just around the corner and is expected to exceed last year’s uptake. We have added 8 new vans across Australia and a new truck for Sydney to meet the immediate distribution requirements and any future national distribution needs. We welcome the 12 new staff and thank them for their professionalism during the education and training phase of their induction. We can all impact our collective health, we look forward to playing our part on behalf of the manufacturers and wholesalers we represent.
