The countdown to Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day) on 20 May is officially ON!

We’re calling on our community across Whittlesea to wear orange loud and proud and help us celebrate our incredible SES volunteers who give their time to help others when it matters most.

Whether it’s an orange shirt, socks, ribbon or a full head-to-toe fit β€” every splash of orange shows support and appreciation for our amazing volunteers. 🧑

Adding to an already amazing day, Dave was also awarded the Victoria State Emergency Service Lifetime Member Award β€” becoming the FIRST recipient in Whittlesea Unit history to receive this prestigious honour! 🫢

Be a part of something meaningful this ANZAC Day and join our volunteers tomorrow morning for the Dawn Service.

Our team will be standing proudly alongside the local community at Epping RSL and the Doreen RSL Sub-Branch Cenotaph. 🀝

Both services are followed by a traditional gunfire breakfast.

Today, our volunteers proudly took part in the Epping RSL Annual ANZAC Remembrance Memorial March.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone in the community who came out to show their support for our veterans. Your presence helps keep their legacy and sacrifice alive. Lest we forget.

This Sunday, 19 April β€” we march together.

Join us along High Street, Epping for the annual memorial march hosted by Epping RSL and be part of something that truly matters. Bring your friends, bring your family, and stand shoulder to shoulder with your community 🫢

Let’s honour the service and sacrifice of those who protect our nation β€” with respect, gratitude, and pride.

The march begins at the corner of the Epping Hotel and continues along High Street to Epping Memorial Hall. Please note there will be temporary road closures in place during the march.

We’ll see you there.
