Melville Primary School is a vibrant public primary school situated half way between Perth CBD and the port city of Fremantle.

We are a large metropolitan school strongly supported by parents and the wider community. We believe in inclusive and holistic teaching and learning ensuring the developmental needs of all our students are met. The expectations and values of the school community are focused on academic rigour, expansion of learning opportunities, particularly in the Arts, as well as developing social and civic responsibility.

Over 650 Melville champions having a blast doing to Waka Waka dance led by our year 6’s.

We had so much fun at our first whole school dance party. It celebrated our focus on the ‘getting along’ key for term 1. A great collaboration between our student well-being committee and Mrs Delury. Is this the biggest progressive polka you’ve ever seen?

Happy holidays everyone, stay safe.

To the MOMPS and their wives who helped out for the busy bee this morning - you are all legends. The hot weather may have stopped us before we finished, but we moved a mountain of branches, debris and undergrowth. And doesn’t our new admin sign look fantastic. Thank you MOMPS. We look forward to another busy bee soon.

Hi All,

We are conducting a Melville Primary School busy bee this Saturday 21st January, to clean up the garden areas outside of the admin office on Curtis Road and around the kiss and drop area.

I will be down there from 8am as it will be a hot day Saturday, but feel free to pop down at any time if you can help out.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
