Suitable for families with children birth-preschool.

We will have messy play so please wear old clothes.

Learning Together Communities playgroup is back for term 4 at Balharry Memorial Children’s Centre.

Thursdays 9:30-11 am

Bring a snack and water bottles.

Bring a hat and dress for the outdoors.

There will be water play most weeks so change of clothes might be useful.

Playing with sand and water is great sensory play, but there is also so many opportunities for numeracy talk.
Notice and talk about the bucket being full/empty/half full.
Talk about heavy and light. More and less.
This is supporting early math language.

LTC playgroup at Kingston Community School is back for term 4 Wednesdays 9:30-11am.

Bring a hat and a change of clothes if your child enjoys water play 💦

We will also visit the Lions Park pump track a few times this term, stay tuned for dates.

Remember to bring a hat when you visit a playgroup. Our sun safe policy requires hats to be worn in term 1,3&4.

Sunscreen and change of clothes may also be useful.

Our playgroups will resume next week from Tuesday 13th October.

LTC playgroup in Naracoorte is between 9-11am, the earlier start is to cater to families that may be already out after dropping off siblings to school or preschool.
You can arrive and leave whenever suits you so please don’t feel obliged to get there at 9 o’clock if that doesn’t suit you.
Our routine is fairly flexible so that children are supported to play and explore.
We end our session with a story and singing. Singing with your own voice can at first feel silly, but singing with your child is growing their language skills. Recorded music can be too fast, when you sing together you tend to slow down so children can learn the words.

We will have lots of time outside with nature walks, visit the chickens, water and sensory play.

Baby playgroup is fortnightly afternoons please see dates attached.

Please register your interest with me so that I can keep numbers at a comfortable level.

Reminder for families:
Please note there will be no playgroups for the rest of this week and next week at all sites due to the school holidays.

Playgroup will commence term 4 Thursday 15th October.
