We’re excited to share the fantastic results from our recent External Validation! Our school was rated as Excelling in 11 out of 14 areas of the School Excellence Framework, and Sustaining and Growing in the other 3. This is a wonderful achievement that highlights the hard work, dedication, and teamwork of our staff, students, and families.

These results show that we have strong, high-quality practices in place, and they also help us identify areas where we can grow even more. Moving forward, our next School Excellence Plan and goals will be guided by this feedback, as well as input from our whole school community.

By working together, we’ll continue to build on our strengths, meet new challenges, and create the best learning experience for every student. Thank you for being part of our journey!

We’re thrilled to unveil the completed new shade sail. This achievement was made possible by the incredible support of our community, with $13,643.00 raised through fundraising events such as our colour run, cookie dough sales, Father’s Day and Mother’s Day stalls, discos, and other community activities.

The school also contributed extra funds to fast-track the project, allowing our students to enjoy the shaded area sooner.

A big thank you to all families, staff, and supporters for your generosity, enthusiasm, and ongoing commitment throughout every fundraising effort. Every contribution has played a vital role in enhancing our school environment and creating a more comfortable outdoor space for our students to enjoy.

What’s on this week!

Congratulations to our CPS debaters who participated in round 2 against Sackville Street PS. Our team took on the challenge of arguing the negative side of “Kids under 12 should never be allowed to use smartphones” and delivered thoughtful confident arguments. Although we didn’t win this time, we’re incredibly proud of our debaters courage, teamwork, and commitment.
