It was a tad muddy at the Ag block today for the 2026 AI program. This year we have been extremely lucky to score some top notch straws from Wattle Grove ‘Paperboy’ P503. A big thanks as always to Dr Henry and the team at Roma Vet Clinic for your ongoing support and working with our students. This year, students in years 5,7,9&10 all played a part in the process.

Students in years 3 and 4 began using laptops this term to complete their Thursday and Friday dictation writing. They listen to a pre-recording of their passage and pause when required, writing their passage using learned spelling choices as well as embedding punctuation where appropriate.
They have also been working hard at editing their own and peers’ dictation writing. They provide a tick or fix on top of correct and incorrect word choices and provide a short feedback comment to encourage a positive classroom environment!
