A new year can signify a new direction for many workers, and it’s common to use this fresh page to seek out new employment opportunities that are in line with our core interests, passions and goals.
Our team of qualified Career Practitioners offer in-person and online Careers Counselling sessions, geared at uncovering your true passions, and at putting a plan of action in place to get there.
We offer careers counselling for Years 11 and 12 students, graduates, career changers, those facing redundancy, those returning to study, parents returning to work and many more subsets of job seekers.
Don’t spend another year in a career rut that leaves you dissatisfied, stressed, burnt out or apathetic.

Cast your mind back to when you were young, when the world was your oyster and you felt that you could do anything you wanted to do.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
It’s normal to move away from your true career passions as you age, when money, expectation, competition and career progression often override your natural interests.
When you are searching for a new career direction, it can be helpful to think back to what excited you before life got in the way.
Did you want to be a writer? A nurse? A builder? A performer? A teacher? A musician? A scientist?
A recent study by OnePoll found that two-thirds of survey respondents failed to follow their childhood dreams, but that 58 percent wish they had.
This year, CDC will be shining a spotlight on some of our team’s stories, and how many of us reached our current roles - often in a roundabout way - with most of us returning to a role that tied in with our early passions.
We believe it is never too late to pursue your childhood dreams.
Stay tuned!
