If it’s flooded forget it

Heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding is forecast for parts of Gippsland from Saturday morning.

Flash flooding can occur with little or no warning.

If you are travelling, always drive to conditions.
Be aware that water across roads can hide debris, damage, or a road surface that has washed away, and you don't always know how deep it is.

If you come across a flooded road, turn around and find a safe alternative. Never drive through floodwater.

Download the VicEmergency app to stay up to date with warnings in your area.
If you require SES assistance, call 132 500.
For life-threatening emergencies always call 000.
