🚴‍♂️ Exciting Wellbeing Opportunity for Our Junior Secondary Students 🚴‍♀️

Yesterday, our Junior Secondary students took part in an exciting wellbeing program delivered through a partnership between the Life Choices Foundation and JC Action Sports.

This engaging program used BMX and action sports to connect students with important messages around mental health, resilience, positive choices and wellbeing. JC Action Sports works with thousands of young people in schools and youth events across Australia each year, and we were very pleased that our students had the opportunity to be involved.

🌟 Year 12 Health Day 🌟

Yesterday, our Year 12 students enjoyed a valuable and fun-filled Health Day, where they were divided into “families” and cared for interactive babies. With feeding, changing, settling and plenty of cuddles needed, students gained a real insight into the time, care and commitment involved in raising a child.

The day also included a hike via Dripping Rock to Cania Dam, preparing wholesome food, self-portraits, backyard cricket, a kick of the footy and steak burgers.

We were pleased to welcome Julie Lane from Rural Health Group, who praised our students for their manners and willingness to participate. Students also took part in a RACQ session, which encouraged important conversations about safe relationships, family, and being ready for children at the right time.

A big thank you to Rural Health Group and LiveBetter Monto for their support.
