🌟 BIG START SESSIONS | PREP 2027 🌟

Help your child get ready for a BIG start to school! These one-hour sessions give you and your child the opportunity to meet our team, ask questions and become familiar with our school.

👨‍👩‍👧 WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Parents and children who have submitted their enrolment forms for Prep in 2027, or will bring their completed forms on the day.

🕒 WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE HOUR?
• First 30 minutes: Attend a presentation by our Principal to learn about our school.
• Next 30 minutes: Parents meet with an administration team member for an enrolment interview, while children enjoy a play-based session with our Prep teachers in a small group of up to six children.

💛 WHY COME ALONG?
Build connections, share information about your child and help them feel more confident about starting Prep. It’s also a chance for our teachers to get to know your child!

Please contact the school to arrange a tour. Big Start sessions are for families taking the next step with their 2027 Prep enrolment.

We commence swimming for Term 4 on Tuesday 13 October 2026.

Please ensure you child/children have everything packed and bring to school ready for lessons:

🏊‍♀️ Swimming togs/shorts/sun safe rash shirt
👉 Towel
🤓 Goggles if needed
All items are to be named and, in a bag, please.

If you haven’t already done so, please complete consent via QParents. If you do not have access to QParents, please visit the school office in person to collect a consent form.

🤩 Friday 16th October from 1-3pm
We welcome Grandparents and Volunteers into our school hall from 1pm to begin our celebrations. Our parade will commence with a performance from our School Choir & Instrumental Band.

👴 👵 Grandparents and grandkids will then enjoy a sausage sizzle provided by our P&C, followed by a visit in their classrooms for some fun activities and games.

😍 While our Volunteers will head over to our staff room for a catered afternoon tea.

🍎 WANTED: P&C Tuckshop Convener (Volunteer) 🍎

Our Tuckshop Convenor, Themelina Johns, has made the decision to hang up her apron at the end of the year.

The Tuckshop will continue to run throughout Term 4, and we’d love interested volunteers to come forward, learn the role and familiarise themselves with the systems ready for 2027.

It’s a great opportunity to get involved in our school community and help keep our Tuckshop running for our students and families. 🥪🍎

A quick reminder that our breakfast club will start on Wednesday for the first week back at school.
Thanks to our wonderful Lions Club of Mooloolah Valley and Mooloolah Valley Bakehouse for their continues support of this fantastic program.

We are very proud of Ethan for being entered and is currently one of the finalist for Andrew Wallace - LNP Federal Member for Fisher Young Person of the Year in the 2026 Fisher Community Awards.
Tomorrow night Ethan and his family will be attending the awards ceremony and we wish him luck for this great achievement.
