On Sunday our members got the chance to go down to VEMTC Bangholme for live fire training.
This is a great opportunity to put their skills to the test and to continue to develop their skills as firefighters in a controlled environment.

PLANNED BURN TODAY – OWL LAND RESERVE, MT EVELYN
Our members will be helping Mt Evelyn crews, with a planned burn at Owl Land Reserve.
Smoke will be visible in the area.
This is a controlled burn under suitable conditions, with crews monitoring at all times. There is no cause for alarm.
If you have respiratory conditions, please follow your health plan.

Please be advised there is currently a large fuel reduction burn happening on Trig Track Mt Dandenong. Wind may bring the smoke into the Mooroolbark area.
