Elder's Storytime is right around the corner, and we wanted to reach out to make sure no-one misses out on this awesome opportunity to come connect and learn more about First Nations culture from respected Elders of our community.

In celebration of Indigenous Literacy Day, Derrimut Weelam Gathering Place have partnered with Kingston Libraries to run TWO Elder’s Storytime sessions.

First Nations Elders from our community will be reading Kulin Tales – a story about the seven seasons of the Boonwurrung, out of both Chelsea and Cheltenham Library.

This event is opened to the broader community, making this a great opportunity for all to learn about the rich culture of First Nations People, learning about the relationship Mob have to Country, and how they care for the land we all live on and enjoy today.

Every child that registers will receive a copy of the book Kulin Tales that is read to them on the day.

Ages for this event are 0-10 years
