☕🍽️ Lunch Out & About! 💙

Liz recently enjoyed a lovely café lunch with Abby as part of her social support. 😊

Sometimes a simple outing for lunch is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house, enjoy some good food and have a chat and a laugh along the way. 🥰
Supporting our clients to stay connected with their community and continue doing the things they enjoy is such an important part of what we do. 💙

☀️ Sunday Tip: Don’t Wait Until You’re Thirsty to Have a Drink! 💧

As we head into the warmer weather, it’s important to remember that thirst isn’t always the best reminder to drink, particularly as we get older.

💧 Keep a water bottle or glass somewhere you can see it
🍓 Add fruit, mint or lemon if plain water gets boring
☕ Tea, milk and other drinks can also contribute to your daily fluids
🥤 Have a drink with meals and snacks to help make it part of your routine

This week’s tip: Pop a drink somewhere visible and take regular sips throughout the day — especially when you’re out and about. 🌤️

A little reminder can go a long way towards staying hydrated and feeling your best. 💙

🏡💙 Respite Care – Making Time Together Meaningful 💙🏡

Tammy recently spent a respite shift with John, enjoying some of the simple things that make being at home special. 😊
A home-cooked meal 🍽️, some furry company 🐶 and a little time outdoors with the chickens 🐔 — sometimes it’s the everyday moments that make the best days.

Our respite services are about providing companionship, support and meaningful time together, while also giving family and carers the opportunity to take a well-earned break. 💙
