Douglas Shire readers welcomed Queensland author Nikki Mottram to the Mossman Library on Wednesday morning.

Nikki talked about what prompted her to write her debut novel ‘Crows Nest' (2023) and her new release ‘Killarney’.

Nikki used her background in child protection and real-life experience of working in rural communities to create two gripping and emotive crime fiction novels.

If you are interested in reading either of these novels, come and see us at Mossman or Port Douglas libraries to borrow a copy.
