Last week, members of our team had the privilege of visiting Foodbank SA & Central Australia and helping pack 480 Christmas hampers to support families and individuals with food on the table this festive season.

With 3.6 million households across Australia having experienced food insecurity this year, it was a memorable experience to visit Foodbank's warehouse and see the life-changing work they do everyday.

Thank you to Datacord for extending an invite, it was excellent to work alongside them and Agelis Group in supporting Foodbank's incredible efforts.

🎄 Celebrate Christmas in style with the final CHSP Seniors Bus Trip for 2026! 🛥️ Join us for an end-of-year celebration on the Proud Mary Cruise on Monday (not Thursday!) 23 November as we enjoy the stunning scenery and tasty food with friends.

We will be departing from Seventh Day Adventist Church Murray Bridge at 9:00am and return at 3:30pm. Due to the narrow entry onto the cruise, mobility aids cannot be taken aboard.

🎄 On 5 November, we'll be getting into the Christmas spirit together as we make festive decorations and enjoy a lovely lunch with friends at Murray Bridge Golf Club from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

🚌🚢 All aboard for a cruise on the Murray River! This month's Bus Trip is a special one as we go on the Proud Mary on Monday (not Thursday!) 9 November. Relax as you enjoy the stunning scenery and tasty food with friends. We will be departing from Seventh Day Adventist Church Murray Bridge at 9:00am and return at 3:30pm. 🛋️🏁 Designed to support people with low mobility, our Comfy Cruisers are heading to The Bend as we enjoy a lovely morning tea overlooking the famous track! Quality time with friends will continue over a delicious lunch at SA's oldest country pub, Wellington Hotel. This trip is on 11 November and will depart from Seventh Day Adventist Church Murray Bridge at 9:30am and return at 3:00pm. Walking aids are encouraged as there is a short walk.

🪵 The second activity at Murray Bridge Golf Club continues the Christmas theme as guests from the Men's Shed share the art of woodworking on 19 November from 10am. After that creative session, enjoy an included lunch as you catch-up with friends and share stories.

🌞 Last month's activities at the Kaleidescape Social Support Group were a wonderful time with friends as we embraced the beginning of Spring!

🌻 The fortnightly sessions at Murray Bridge Golf Club featured a day in the garden and an exciting musical performance. Our outings with friends continued the fun as we travelled to two popular destinations in regional SA: Barossa Valley Chocolate Company and Lyndoch Lavender Farm!

Ready to enjoy crafts, take a trip, and have fun with friends? Come join Kaleidescape's social activities if you have a Support at Home package. 🤩

🐦 For day one of October, we are hosting a bird house making and painting session. Share stories and make new friends during these fun crafts and over lunch at Murray Bridge Golf Club from 10am.

🚌🛋️🚂 Choo, choo! This month's trips will be the same event, but on different days. We'll be heading to Goolwa to take the Cockle Train to Victor Harbour and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Crown Hotel for a wonderful day near the sea! The Bus Trip will be on 8 October with a 9:00am departure and 3:30pm return. Designed for lower mobility, the Comfy Cruisers trip is on 14 October from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Walking aids are encouraged for either trip as there is a short walk from the train stop to the hotel.

🎤 Enjoy another indoor activity session on 15 October with a musical performance and a round of Bingo at Murray Bridge Golf Club from 10am. As always, lunch is included.
