🐾| Pet ownership
Keep your four-legged best mate safe, happy and living their best life!
A friendly reminder that all companion animals must be under effective control in public places - that means on a lead and handled by a responsible person, unless you’re in a designated leash-free area.

Looking for off-lead run with your dog?
Head to the eastern end of Rotary Park on Culling Street, Narromine. It is a truly paw-fect playground for the doggies

Register your pets
Need to register your cat or dog? Pop into Council’s Customer Service and Payments Centre at 118 Dandaloo Street, Narromine.
Let’s keep every pet safe, registered and accounted for.
And make sure you have plenty of fresh water, shade and love for your pet all of the time.

💧| Five hours. One household. Every drop counts!
It’s time to see just how much water you really use!

Water Night 2026 is back on Thursday 22 October as part of National Water Week and the challenge is simple. No running water from 5pm to 10pm.

That means no taps, no showers and no sneaky little water runs for five hours!
Water Night is a chance to stop, think about your everyday water use and discover simple ways to save water at home.
