Awabakal Preschools is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Early Learning Transport Driver (Support Worker) within our Early Learning Services team.

This is a fixed-term position running through to the end of the 2026 school calendar year, working 3 days per week from 8:00am to 3:30pm.

The role involves providing a safe and reliable transport service for children and families attending Awabakal Preschool, supporting program operations, and assisting with general maintenance tasks across preschool facilities.

Essential requirements include:
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- Child Protection qualifications, or willingness to obtain them
- Current NSW Driver License with a good driving history
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Aboriginality preferred

This October, Awabakal is raising awareness about the importance of breast health, early detection and regular screening.

Breast cancer can affect our mothers, sisters, aunties, grandmothers and daughters. Looking after ourselves means looking after our families and future generations.

🌸 CHECK – Know what’s normal for your body and look out for any changes.

🌸 SCREEN – Breast screening is FREE for women aged 40–74 every 2 years. No GP referral needed.

🌸 TALK – Have a yarn about your breast health and any concerns or questions.

🌸 SUPPORT – Encourage the women in your life to prioritise their health and book their breast screening.

💗 Are you due, overdue or just need to have a yarn?
